Yeshua (Jesus) didn't wear a Stetson hat, jeans, boots and spurs during the 1st century. But, if he visited Colorado today, He would embrace all His followers here that do. BearTrax Fellowship is made up of Cowboys, Westerners and mountain people that love Him and demonstrate that love by keeping His commandments.
Yeshua came from a Jewish family of the 1st century, He kept the Torah, He demonstrated how we should live, how we should relate to one another, and He died a sinless man. Therefore, to properly understand the Renewed Testament, we must understand the customs, culture, traditions, teachings, and beliefs of the Jewish people of the first century to completely understand the Gospel. To accomplish this, we study the scriptures from a perspective of the ancient Hebrew, Middle Eastern context in which they were written, rather than trying to fit what is read into a modern Western European or American worldview. At BearTrax Fellowship we study the Bible in its Hebraic 1st century context, we observe the Torah, we keep the 7th day Sabbath and the festivals commanded by the Father. We also affirm the existence of original Hebrew language of the scriptures and study Hebrew/Greek so as to read the scriptures from their original sources.
We welcome all believers, Jews and Gentiles to join us for praise and worship, Davidic dancing, a potluck and solid biblical teaching every Shabbat (Sabbath/Saturday).
